Lincoln Memorial at Duskby stratbluesComment: Nice composition and colour. I like that you've captured some people in the image... gives is some perspective and some story.
Now... please bear with me... I'm revisiting a little comment experiment I conducted in the 2009-03 Free Study... something like K10DGuy's comments, but with a twist... the twist being, the story will move from one photo to another within the challenge... also, I don't select just a few photos I start at the first and end on the last as determined by DPC random order assigned to me, with a single sentence for each photo... should be interesting... and you're photo is #12 in the series

The age of man was about to come to an end, and animals would rule the world again. |

Sunrise Surpriseby AmmieComment: Nice colours can clouds... I love a nice cloudscape... this would have benefited from something more than tree tops in the foreground... hard to make a cloudscape rock just with clouds, no matter how great the clouds... not impossible, but not easy.

Nice photo, made a great image by the juxtaposition of age and youth, male and female, decay and beauty. It tell a story. Bravo. |

Prairie Queenby MAKComment: Great detail and colour. Might have gone with a tighter crop on this myself, perhaps to get away from the centred composition. Love the eyes... they really pop out.

Birds Eye Veiw.by CraftyComment: Nice detail and composition. The fence here works for me, but I think other voters might not appreciate what it adds to the overall image. |

The Hungeringby Adamsw216Comment: Nice detail... love the crumb on the hand. Centred composition works well here, as does the tight crop and shallow DOF... well deserving of the "best of" challenge. |
