White Feather on Snow

The textures won this a very favorable rating from me. The slight stain on the the feather vanes in the lower right was a tad bothersome but not enough to hurt the overall technical and compositional image. An eight. Save this one for another competitive format where cloning is allowed so you cna clean up the vanes and the dark spots on the rachis. I am confident it would do well. Good luck.

The title captured me to open up the thumbnail; I'm glad I did. The satin glows a little hotly in the lower left and the unavoidable luster on the pearls is a tad too hot, too, but the composition, textures and sentiment won it a 9 from me. By the way, best wishes! ::smile::

Good dof work. Not seeing the eyes of the player lends a macabre air to it, but I sense, by the compositio, that is what you wanted. - to obscure the eyes We each are entitled to our artistic interpretation; this just didn't speak to me. Rated it 6 for clarity and dof.
