Historical and Classicalby GrayGhostComment: I'm afraid the blown highlights really take away the meaning of this image or me. It's hard to see the face of the camera aperatus thingie because it is in deep shadow. Shame, because it looks like it is probably an interesting machine. Also, it looks like the building in the background is also historical and classical, so I'm not really sure what the subject is. Please take my comments for what they are worth; that is, an amateur photographer's input. |

High-end Chromeby MelethiaComment: Congratulations on the placement and for such a cool status image! I missed this in the voting, but would've definitely given you a decimal point or so over what you got, had I made it to this in the voting. WTG! |

'but mommy......'by suemackComment: I thought I commented on this already, Sue but it's gone now. What an expression on that girl's face! She could just as well be giving her mom the finger :-) The colors and clarity are good and it's definitely candid- I like how those beautiful eyes are a main subject. The parents would probably think this was hysterical! |

Sweet Rideby dahvedComment: WTG, David! That Rebel is already showing it's stuff for you!! Congratulations on one of your higher scores and a nice image. The leading lines from the wheel are really good. The eye is drawn perfectly to the subject of chrome. I did find the reflections in the door a little distracting due to some hard light, but what can you do - when the shot is there, it's there, regardless of the time of day :-)

Insurgent (focal length - 300 mm)by DigiFotoBuddyComment: Hey Shail :-) This has some really cool tones, so I think the b&w part of your post-processing was a big hit - well done! I can't believe how mean some people are with the comments. I agree that you went too far with the noise reduction and I would've made that comment had I voted on Candid. But I wish people would give criticism in a slightly less sarcastic way. Anyway, great job with the b&w, super title, nice capture. Just for fun, maybe you could try reprocessing without the NI and see how it looks. The composition is brilliant. |

Roadside Trashby jrtoddComment: This is a great shot. You've got leading lines, motion blur, wonderful mountains - what more could a person ask for? Less trash by the roadside! I like this a lot - and personally, I think it fit the challenge, but then I think everything we can see has a texture :-P |
