Golden Boyby gsalComment: Wonderful! I love his expression, sooo delicate, the highlights in his hair, and the grain overall. |

Domeby matispistaComment: Technically, this is very good. To give it more interest, this might've benefited from a different angle or crop. The two tops of the building, especially the angled one at right, do add interest in a good way, though. |

Larusby ZoomdakComment: Gorgeous, gorgeous! Bet this wins. The flying bird is so perfectly placed! I'm guessing this is Oregon - and really looking forward to seeing this after the challenge! Since Larus means both gull and our famous Icelandic member, I'm guessing this is a tribute to the gull, even though the quality matches that of Larus the member :-) Great job! |

Urban Crunchby dahvedComment: Nice, David! Looks like you're on your way to being our team's most improved photographer, if not the whole WPL this season (haven't checked - just noticed that you're really putting in some nice entries lately). Way to go! |

'Natures abstract designs'by suemackComment: Brad's right! Sue, this is just beautiful. I am crazy about the low contrast as a foil to the strong lines. I even like the border, and normally don't like 'em wide or white ... here, it is just right. |

Memories of Laughterby JutildaComment: I'm surprised this didn't do better. The tones are beautiful, as is her mouth (and all those lines, of course). I wonder if the slight decrease in sharpness on her cheeks is what dragged the score down - that's the only thing I can think of, but I don't entirely understand. I would've given this a 7 or 8, but my votes never seem to match the middle of the curve. I love the title that is a perfect match to the catchlight in her eye. |

There's Puppies over Thereby SandyPComment: I can see why these kids have turned your heart all mushy, Sandy. They're adorable! I like the placement of Temple's hands on the wall here. And I love the title! |
