Concentrationby gocComment: Wow, that buck has an almost human face. Really interesting; plus, he's got a rope or something hanging from his horn? Hope he's okay. The color of the green and the detail in it are superb. I like how the depth of focus is in the middle range around the deer and along the entire horizontal at that level. Not sure, but it might have even got a better reaction from me if the empty space were to the right of the deer or if it could've been a little looser crop on that side. |

New Orleans Street Soulby Bernard_MarxComment: This is a wonderful image, but for my taste, it's robbed of its quality by postprocessing, particularly shadow/highlight and saturation. This guy has an awesome face - love his eyes and beard. |

A Filly's Reposeby lynnesiteComment: Stunning, really stunning. The backlight is so defined around her, really brings out the hair and whisker details beautifully. |

My Legby taljComment: Hope it gets better soon. I just stumbled (haha, sorry) on this and have to comment on what a great shot it is, particularly considering it's a telephone shot! Impressive. Anyway, I really hope you are better soon. Sounds like you're living a nightmare, you poor girl :-( |

Watching From The Shadowsby idnicComment: The way that beautiful fur fills the whole frame is striking. Issues for me are the pink spot at right and that the focus on his face seems a bit soft, but with oversharpened whiskers. My favorite part of this other than how his fur fills the frame is the color of his eyes. Really beautiful color overall (other than the pink color mentioned above). I love the way he's looking directly at the camera! |

Modern Coal Mineby RistyzComment: This seems like a really good idea and an interesting topic, but there's a lot going on here, so it's kind of hard to know what I should be looking at. The lines lead to a miner, but he kind of blends in with his surroundings, which becomes a bit confusing. |

Barney at windowby lytaComment: Hey, this is my cat's twin! Really. Very good expression on his face and nice job overall. I like the detail above his eyes and around his nose. |

Soft Curvesby cresusComment: I really like the unusual pose, composition, and processing here. Her body is a complex line of light. Very nice. |

African Nightby md8speedComment: Wow, this is so beautiful! The silhouette of that lonely tree on the hill - and those gorgeous colors... Tony, is this you? Very nice, whoever you are! |
