I felt this would be placed way higher than this - it is a stunning photo of a beautiful creature.

I'll be in Jax to visit family and friends for a weekend soon. Didn't realize you were in THAT part of Florida! Nice photo and congrats on a great placing!

It seems as though the focal point is slightly behind his eyes. Nice saturation.

This is so pretty! Piercing eyes, and I just love these "in your face" animal portraits. Beautiful job.

Beautiful. I can't give it full marks because of the strange brown blotch on the right side of the image.

Amazingly beautiful. The only tiny nitpick I have is, I wish the animal had filled the frame completely.

The way that beautiful fur fills the whole frame is striking. Issues for me are the pink spot at right and that the focus on his face seems a bit soft, but with oversharpened whiskers. My favorite part of this other than how his fur fills the frame is the color of his eyes. Really beautiful color overall (other than the pink color mentioned above). I love the way he's looking directly at the camera!

Love the sharpness of detail and textures in this photo of this predator. The clarity is such that you can see and 'feel' the individual hairs on his/her fur coat - that is the texture I speak of. You can 'feel' it's softness should one dare to touch it. By viewing the photo of this creature, it is the safest way for us to 'touch' it:-) Love how there is a slight patch of light that falls just on the eyes and seems to illuminate & call greater attention to them. Those staring eyes are hypnotic as well as the beauty of this animal. Love the colors too - very bold and vibrant neither washed out or in heavy shadow. A wonderful capture.
