One of the best, if not the best portraits in the entire challenge. Added bonus was looking up the word "asperous" and discovering that this portrait *is* the definition. Something that appeals to me about this is that it's not taken from the usual straight-on angle, but rather a bit from underneath. He's got loads of character and the image processing luckily also has loads of character. Great job!

Obviously, this is technically wonderful; really, really good job. But the thing that jumps out and makes me love this little girl is that dirty foot. It's a heartbreakingly sweet image. Hope you do very well with it - you better!

Ah, they are so sweet! This is such a great angle for a portrait. It's really nice how the one twin's necklace complements the other twin's straps - makes such good lines leading to their faces and those gorgeous eyes.

Hey, I think I've been there! Is it John Day painted hills, or something like that? It is a gorgeous place, even if I'm wrong about the location. The hills are really nicely captured, but I wish the sky had not blown out (you might be wishing the same thing :-).

The detail is incredible, and the lighting & composition are good. Unfortunately, the selective desat really, really doesn't appeal to me. Sorry and I hope you don't mind my comment too much. The most important thing is that you are happy with your image.

Wow, and whoa - this is so nice with the grain and the reflection in his sunglasses. It's too bad his pinky finger is so tightly cropped, but in every other way I think the tight tight crip works perfectly - very good!!
