lonely walkby StagoleeComment: Great! Love all the shadows and the simplicity in this complex geometry. |

From the Preys Perspectiveby cryanComment: I like the idea, and the light gives some interesting color and luminosity. For me though, the focus and the lack of light on the top of the subject detract quite a bit. Hope you don't mind my input. |

Miss you!by birkinComment: I gave this one an 8. I can't believe that people think this doesn't meet the challenge, but maybe I've lived in Sweden too long. Still, I thought that even in the US there are postcards of everything under the sun. This is a lovely photograph. The lighting and melancholy tones fit the "Miss you" title perfectly. Whatever your score, I think you did a wonderful job!! Sorry this was so under rated though. |

San Diego, Californiaby rkligmanComment: Great clarity, but looks a bit oversharpened, particularly in the feathers. Might be nice to see a tighter crop at the bottom (with smaller text) because the brown rock or wood is tough to identify. Cool looking bird!!! |

Welcome To Floridaby Physics_GuruComment: The composition is lovely here. I like that it is centered, contrary to the normal rule of thirds. I also think the lighting is perfect and there's very good color. But I do have some critique as well: This image could've really benefited from noise reduction, as there is quite a bit of visible grain, especially in the sky. Also, it looks like the image is tilted clockwise a few degrees. If the noise were reduced and the image were straight with the horizon, I think your overall challenge score would've been quite a bit higher. But I like the image a lot, as described above. Well done! |

Kijkduin - beachby Arti-ElviComment: Oh, what wonderful toning! This is one of the most original compositions I've seen. I like it very much and have no criticism at all, no matter how hard I look. Great job! |

Hi Thereby EvaanComment: What an adorable seal! I like the image a lot, but suspect attention would be drawn to it even more if the frame and text were either black or white. The color conflicts with the image itself in my opinion. Good clarity on the water an bubbles. I like the way the seal is swimming out of the image to right. |

Great Falls National Parkby emaynerComment: Ah, for some reason this reminds me of my Perspective entry and I have the same comment on yours as what I'm getting there: this could use a tad more saturation to make it more dynamic and add to the drama. Yours is a much better image than mine, so please take my comments with a grain of salt. I like the drama of the turbulent water and as I inspect this image more closely, I see that there's quite a bit of interest in the sky too! So this would be a perfect candidate for higher saturation and maybe some curves to bring out contrast. Looks like a wonderful place! |

Wish you were here!by permapierComment: Oh, I think this is really nice. The dof is especially fine. Good job with the composition, too. I like the subtle text. |

by tateComment: What a great reflection! I'm not voting differently because of this, but I wish the text was sized so none of the museum's reflection were covered. |
