generationsby boysetsfireComment: Wonderful framing - I don't mean the white frame - can take or leave that, but I mean the circular sculpture framing the two people. I think the added noise adds to the mood,, as do the slightly shifted colors. Cool image! |

Captured From Another Timeby SandyPComment: Sandy, WOW! I just got back from a trip - haven't been able to keep up with DPC much lately. I'm soooo glad I got to see this one of yours! It's really, really a crisp, beautiful, wonderful portrait. It's fun to see you go for a slightly different (harder, in some ways) look, too. Wonderful job!! Added to my favorites, of course :-) |

Shadow Playby JutildaComment: Hey Judy. I thought this was one of jjbeguin's because of this stark and simple, striking composition. This got an 8 from me. HOW is it a 4.9?? |

roseby sigrun_thComment: Such a perfect rose, Sigrun! I really like the quality. It could fit very well in a botany textbook, kind of like those beautiful old prints that one can still find for sale in antique shops (paintings that look like photographs). Good job and congratulations on a good score too. |

Gardeniaby XileboComment: Now this is a nice flower shot. It's hard to properly expose those white petals, but you manged it well. The classic composition is nice.
Am I comment #1000?

Dashing Through the Snowby CutterComment: I love this! What a cool, ghost-like sight that is with the person perfectly framed on the bridge. Hope this does well. It's very nice (meaning I have no constructive criticism for you :-) |

Snack Time 70s style.by jaysonmcComment: Ha, this makes me smile! Really cute setup. Hope the dog didn't have to wait very long. Look at those back legs all ready to spring! |

Sea Legs, AARrrby dolikemagooComment: The title is the best part! It's got me laughing pretty hard, haarrr. Other than the title, I have to say the legs themselves aren't speaking to me :-) I'm sorry, but even though I think the technicals are good here, and also think the wood on the right is very beautiful, it feels like I'm not able to find anything here to sit back and reflect on, get angry, happy, sad, or anything else over. I wonder if I might feel differently if the left branch were a bit sharper. Anyway, I do like the peaceful and slightly blurred water surface in the background (plus that branch on the right). |

Visual and Historicalby levyj413Comment: WOW, I like this one much better than the postcard shot (but that one's nice, too :-). Congratulations on two really great challenge entries and high scores! This is really nice the way the composition emphasizes the curves of the pillars. Way to go! |
