Excellent photo, Judy. I love the high contrast.

I like the shot overall, but the diagonal connection's pretty weak. Maybe cropping out the left third or so would make a strong line from the lower left corner through this foot and head to the upper right corner?

Hey Judy. I thought this was one of jjbeguin's because of this stark and simple, striking composition. This got an 8 from me. HOW is it a 4.9??

Nice job on the post processing. I really like this but no so much for diagonal as the overall processing. 8

Interestingly done - but I don't see this fitting the challenge unless you mean the boys leg (which for me would not be enough to make it fit).

way too much contrast.

where's the diagonal thrust?

that's a great technique. but this particular photo seems like just an exercise. I hope you find ways to use this technique for dramatic effect. 6

Interesting. But is still a predominantly horizontal shot rather than having a strong diagonal element. For me the horizontal white fence outweighs the child's diagonal leg.

This photo draws me in. There's just enough detail in the right places to give mystery to the child. I am starting to really love this high contrast processing too! I really like this.

Interesting exposure. The diagonal line isn't very strong...

I really like this picture. I guess the leg qualifies for diagonal. Nice original thinking.
