Polar Windsby srbrubakerComment: Ah, I wish I would've voted on this challenge. Would've helped out a little (one more higher score out of 233 total votes). Sorry I missed this one, but glad to see it now at least. |

Learning to be Freeby TelehubbieComment: I also think this is a very, very nice image, which would have absolutely received a good score for Independence, but even better, it will be fantastic on your wall at home, with copies given to all your family! I love the way the light is coming from your left with your right hand reaching out to guide your son. |

Finial Snowdriftby srbrubakerComment: This is really a beautiful composition. It looks like the image is slightly off level, but that does not detract - it rather adds to the effect somehow.
Two general comments I have about the shots in your portfolio is that I'd love to see how you do with a tripod when you do some of these handhelds. The reason I say that is because I suspect the sharpness from using a tripod would add an extra punch to your already very good compositions. The other general comment is that you really do a great job with black and white! |

Point Judith Lightby rayg544Comment: This is beautiful! Before I moved to Sweden, I lived about two miles from here. Looks like you had a beautiful day. The DOF is excellent. |

Cutting Edge Redoby rjksteschComment: WOW, what a difference! This is much better, not only with the focus, but the colors and crop as well. Keep up the good work! Regards from your "classmate" in DPC Basics mentor group :-) |

Welcome Gate Printby jpochardComment: I also love the colors here. This is a beautiful card / brochure cover. I'd love to hear how you got those great colors. The light is really, really good on the bricks.
The only niggle for me is that, despite ShutterPug's comment, the focus seems a little too soft, particularly around the door. The weird thing is even the text looks a little fuzzy to me, which means you should take this part of my comment with a grain of salt - because I probably need new glasses. |

Morning Swimby amberComment: This is a beautiful shot! I missed it somehow during the challenge voting, but I would've given this a really high score. That blue is beautiful. The detail of the water is also excellent. |
