Oooh I like this - what a fabulous composition for a macro shot. Wonderful curved shape seems like a hill over which one can see the sky beyond. Like the limited DOF. Position of the stemmy bit is good too. A great shot.

Interesting image and I like the little blobs of light in the background. In terms of DOF I think this could benefit from having less, along the lines of Gordon's "Camouflage" image, though I appreciate you may not have wanted that look.

A lovely image... I hope you don't get too many comments dismissing this just because something similar has been done before. Whilst I can see similarities to Setzler's Foliage entry, which itself reflects work of earlier photographers, I think this is a unique take on the theme. I love the diagonal vein across the image. Does seem somewhat pixelated?
