Beautiful richness of colour but not quite enough contrast in colour between top leaf and some beneath it. Would have liked to see more dark leaves (like the one at the left) beneath the top one to really allow the shape of it to be more defined. Water adds interest. Full frame works well.

Nicely composed with good use of background materials - DOF throws them out of focus enough not to distract from main subject but not so much as to lose recognition. A solid traditional subject matter. I like the more casual touch of the two loose flowers and petals. Not sure about black and white though I appreciate that in colour the balance between foreground and background may not have been maintained.

Oh! Let me gather him to me! This image successfully invokes the appropriate emotions - tugs at the heartstrings. Mood is established very well with use of light and shadow and the balance of each contributes to the very strong composition. Position of his head is just right. Can I have him?

Nice use of coloured ribbon. Ribbon well positioned. Like that shadow is soft against the hard edges of the ribbon. Ribbon is too close to left and top of frame for my preference. Feels too hemmed in.

An element of eroticism with the suggestion of bosoms - the texture on the skins adds to that. Good composition, strong use of shadow. I think this is an excellent study and is much more than just a picture of two fruits.

This is great - it really does make me look and look and notice details and wonder about the person living in this room. Spot on choice to go for black and white. Lighting works well for me.

Nice! I'd crop a little from the left to get a stronger balance - the diagonal line would sit more closely on the left vertical third line - which i think would strengthen composition in this case.

The composition is excellent and the shape of the negative space is just as important as the shapes (and colours) of the objects. I like this very much - I think you've got the balance just right.
