Tagger Without a Causeby ImagineerComment: I think this is a very strong image though I can't say it's hugely appealing. The composition just takes my breath away - the position of the pay meter and the lines of the fence, paving, building and windows just clicks for me.
In terms of "message" this is speaking to me about the futility of this kind of graffiti - wanton destruction without even remote mitigation of scrawling a political message within the graffiti.
What message, thought or concept were you aiming at conveying? |

I Speak The Truthby Spanish_GreaseComment: Interesting image though I'm not quite sure what it's saying. Who speaks the truth, on what subject?
I do like the image itself and the choices of B/W and limited DOF work well for me.
I'd like to see the vertical line of the mike more accurately vertical within the frame. |

Why start smoking when you can take the easy way out!by DufusComment: Without the title I wouldn't have really understood the message, though most propaganda images have supporting text, so I'm not saying that as a criticism. I like the composition, the close crop on the model works well. I also like the way she's looking up a stairway of light - is that meant to represent the tunnel of light people are meant to see on death? |

Worth it?by arnitComment: Great use of shock tactics. Because of the patients own narrow focus on the contents of the syringe everything else, including his health, is rubbed out - I think the DOF choice really shows that. |

The Grapes of Wrathby irenesComment: I happened to see the other similar rendition first so that got all my ho ho ho for this idea. (I'm not voting so you don't get marked down for that). Lighting isn't very good - too much glare on that white cloth and too messy an arrangement but I imagine you were more concerned with the humour anyway? :o) |

"Are you my mother?"by thefragileComment: This isn't weird at all. No really. Let me get you your meds now.
Seems very pixelly but I can't tell whether that's just the weird texture confusing my eyes and brain! (Isn't difficult to confuse them!).
Why did you take a photo of a dead chick? What is that in it's mouth? |
