A serene scene but a little overcast to appeal strongly to me. I also find the composition a little too centred and would be interested to see alternative shots of the same subject with different balances between water and sky, as well as different positions of the island within the frame.

Feels a little tilted off the horizontal but I like the low viewpoint and straightforward capture. The detail in the hob ring is great - like a circle of smiles.

Great idea and nice composition infront of good black backdrop. I'd say that the image would have more impact of there were less distracting detail in the model - a shave would mean that the light wouldn't catch those wee white hairs along the chin and neck which keep attracting my focus.

Wind

Wonderful abstract feel and conveys so much more than just the concept of wind - it takes me back to summer days on the beach running around with similar whirly wind powered toys and I can even feel the sun and wind on my skin. I like the angle of the spindle, the amount of motion blur compared to the amount of discernable detail and I like the way the blue sky is broken up the fluffy white cloud.

Your title certainly matches what the image conveys - floating peacefully on the tranquil waters... Good choice to go for black and white to really highlight the cloudy shadows in the still water.

Nice use of perspective to show both the scale of an individual wind turbine as well as the expanse of empty land that this wind farm is situated in. I like the way you've picked a time of day that adds interest to the shot by providing graduated colour and beautiful glints on the sides of the turbines.

The tracks certainly give a focal point and strengthen composition, alongside the parallel triangle of rock to the lower right of the frame.

This is a nice study - lighting is good, background works well. I think I'd prefer the shoes a touch closer to each other, still with one at an angle, as you've posed it.
