Locked solidby e301Comment: Lovely lighting brings out the shape of this and lifts it only subtly from the background. Wonderful textures and shapes. |

A Design Classicby andywightmanComment: In my opinion this shows me the creativity in of the camera manufacturers but not yours - it's just sitting there like a sales catalogue photo and therefore doesn't, for me, create an image that appeals in it's own right. |

Curves by dinnComment: This really shows of the aesthetic success of this corridor, wherever it is. Nice choice to stand to one side to capture the foremost curved beam such that it connects top left to bottom right of the frame. |

skechersby hopperComment: Nice use of shallow DOF. Great choice to go in close and create this composition from the larger object. Love the diagonals, the variety of textures and the limited brown, beige and gold colour palette. |

Heaven's Goldby vtruanComment: Oh I do love shallow DOF when used effectively! Parallel lines are great and I like the way that the column bit at the left anchors the image. Nice colours too. |

Crane Reflectionsby dsidwellComment: Absolutely remarkable use of colour and reflections to add interest to a simple study of architectural design. I love the way the crane reflects differently in the two materials of the facade of this building. Well composed, very striking. |

A Grand Designby GordonComment: Interesting subject and great choice to opt for a night shot with the black contrasting so well against the lit facade of the church opposite. The sweeping curve of the building and the way it cuts the image in half, works well. Shame about that patch of brighter light at the bottom, though it's not a biggie. |

Mississippi Deltaby sherComment: A great subject with wonderful detail, texture, colour and complexity. Nice choice to have the spokes of the nearest wheel create strong diagonals from the corner and frame the second wheel. |

Chrome Mustangby moodvilleComment: That's amazing! But I do feel that I'm admiring the creativity of the sculptor more than the photographer here. That said, I like your decisions on how close to go, how much to include around the subject within the frame and to opt for black and white. The reflections, particularly in the head area, are wonderful. |

Engineering Excellence Painted International Orangeby sfaliceComment: Nice viewpoint and I like the way you have kept the vertical vertical and made such a striking diagonal from the horizontal. My main suggestion would be to shift to the left a little - crop a little from the right and include a touch more on the left so that the diagonal flies right over to the top left corner. |
