Falling in November

Perfect! The way that the most obvious falling leaf is highlighted against the black area of the background (and hence stands out clearly) is excellent. The dog is beautifully captured - nice eye detail and catchlight, nice pose. Overall composition works very well. Colours of leaves against almost monotone dog also works well. An absolute gem of an image! 9

Far and away my favourite entry in this challenge. I love the lighting, the grainy texture, the toning and the clean background. Only thing I'm not keen on is choice of border. Beautiful, elegant, simple image.
