Esca-peaby pidgeComment: Great idea! Reflections/ haze in the glass are a shame but still works well. |

ZORIAby nikmaticComment: Lovely idea simply presented. I like the way your viewpoint excludes everything but hands, peas, bowl and body. |

Sweet Peasby TransitComment: Hmmm... not sure I get the point of replacing peas with MnMs. Nevertheless I do like the picture - the background is beautifully black and the use of reflection works well. |

Floating in a Sea of Peaby timfythetooComment: Clever idea and I bet it was really weird to do! Personally I think open eyes would be more striking and provide a great focal point but I accept that the closed eyes gives a different feel to it. |

Green Goldby bragurComment: ROFL! Ignoring the processing for a second, the shot is priceless - Love the huge volume of peas being stuffed in to the hard man mouth there! Personally I'm not a huge fan of the grunge look and I'm not sure I like it's application here - the green from the peas seems to be blurred all around the skin of the mouth and there are really heavy halos around the edges of the hat, sunglasses etc. The original photograph itself I like! |

Hostile takeoverby jaxedComment: Simple, bold, vivid colours... interesting. Not sure why the peas in the pod are such an insipid khaki green compared to the single pea outside the pod though. |

Japanese Gardenby MontagueComment: Lovely idea and really like the composition, the curved background, the textures and the colours. Seems very strongly oversharpened with really heavy halos around the edges of the darker pebbles and copper vessel. |

The Pea Kingby SherwinJamesComment: Great idea and love the use of a reflective surface. Foreground is too shadowy for my tastes and that break in the line at the far edge of the surface is distracting being as close as it is to the focal point. |

Precious Foodby h2Comment: This is such a fantastic idea... I really love the idea of peas as pearls strung on a string to be worn like precious jewels! The positioning of your curves of beaded peas is just right and makes a great composition - though I think the addition of a needle would be great too. The lighting feels a little harsh on the white background though perfect on the peas themselves. Great image! |
