Sonoran Spring by ArtifactsComment: This has SO much potential. The sky's marvelous. It falls short for me, though, in that the shadows are too blocked up, especially on right center, and the "toppling" perspective on the largest saguaro is disturbing. A strong entry, regardless. |

Nightbulb by scalvertComment: I'd love to know how this was done in basic editing. It is so skillfully done I have to presume the maker knows what he's doing, and I give it a 10. I'm sure someone else has asked for validation. I hope it validates. Feel free to PM me and elt me know how you made it if youw ish, the 10 is already on it and will stay there.
GREAT! Validated! I can't wait to see how you did this.... |

Marry me Daddyby joyinlightComment: This one is one of the very few that's taking "surrealism" literally, and I admire it for that. I can't believe, however, that the border is legalin basic editing. And even if it were, it's not helping the image at all IMO. Nevertheless, I'm scoring this 8, and would have scored it 9 without the very distracting border. |

Strange love...by TerramarComment: TRULY strange. Conceptually this is really "surrealism" as I understand it. One of the relative few images that "gets it". Aesthetically, I feel like there's too much red area... 9 from me |

What do you see?by p3wizComment: I keep coming back to this one and liking it more and more. As landscapes go (and of course this ISN'T a landscape) this one keeps shifting perspectives. I KNOW it's a reversed shot of a snowdrift, and yet I keep seeing the Hindu Kush or something... I liek it and I give it a 9 just 'cuz it's different and refreshing and intriguing, even if it's not really "surreal" by my definition. I hope you do well. |

Reality Perceptionby TranquilComment: Really sweet. Love the luminosity. Strictly speaking it's not "surrealism" as I understand it, but I can see that I'm bucking the trend on that, and so I'm giving high scores to reall excellent images that are at least over-the-line if not surreal. 9 from me. |

Ashes to Ashesby e301Comment: This is literally bone-chilling in its juxtaposition, and it is presented with no frills whatsoever, it strikes a chord in me. 9 |

point of viewby messerschmittComment: I like this very much, for its transition between perception and altered perception, for is gritty dreamliek quality, gor the matter-of-fact, dterminely non-artistic presentation of the concept. 9 |
