Man Behind Paperby EvaanComment: Reminds me of the Southwester Indian figure, kokopele (sp?), and this is a great association for me. It's a very metaphorical image, and I just love it. Strange & mysterious. Strong entry. |

Paper curlsby frogletComment: Very clean and intriguing. OOF foreground curls are distracting to me. More of a diagonal on the scissors might have been stronger. Reflection on the scissors is sweet. Strong entry. |

Stone Cold Suicideby ArtysteComment: Gotta love this one for how it's truly witty and sly. Technically it seems rather humdrum, but I admire the heck out of the concept and I am ranking it right up top. |

Timeby shutterphunkComment: Beautiful, beautiful image. I hope it doesn't get scored down for being "only" feet. These feet speak volumes to me. |

Low Cost Improvementsby jjbeguinComment: Truly strange image. Frankly I find little photographic merit in it, but by God it's original and oddly compelling. Large bump up from me on this pass; it was in my also-rans stack originally. |

Face Tacks!by russiComment: This has to be one of the more bizarre images we've seen, at least among those that aren't totally tasteless. Bumping. |

Changing tacksby arpitaComment: Nice "tacktical" diagram from a yacht racing manual :-) The overall softness of it is sort of odd, and (to pick a nit) the tangency of the foreground pin witht he first red pin is offputting to me. |

Pen-Tacksby CantiqueComment: Love the pun. Picture's a little muddy & humdrum. Good example of a title giving an image a boost, it all made me smile :-) Gave it a 6, |

Mother / Daughter Meditationby dsa157Comment: Not often I like a selective desat very much, but this one works for me. It's a wonderful image, you can both see the physical kinship and feel the emotional kinship. |
