Challenge: 10 Nice white background good light color with a blue as the major tone.
Technical: 10 excellent DOF The droplets are reflecting light back with touch of glare.
Composition: 10 I love the angle changes the aspect of the shot
Appeal: 10 I would frame it.
Overall: 10 cant go wrong with the droplet shot.

Challenge: 7 I just not seeing the white background its looking more of a gray. Maybe adding some light from a couple of directions could have solved this.
Technical: 10 I like the focus and DOF I can see good texture so I see the sharpness is good.
Compostion: 10 I ike how you placed the subject just a tad of centered makes the image work will with this kind of subject.
Appeal: 3 I think I would have liked it more if you would have had a white background using lighting then you would have seen shadows of the various textures.
Overall: 7

Appeal: 1 I wish you would dont away with the extra petals I think thats what they are. one of them is actually bluring out the 2nd flower from the top. It may have been an effect you were trying but its distracting.
Overall: 8 good shot overall

Technical: 8 I wish the right corner didnt have the shadow casting I hope its not on just my monitor.
Composition: 10 excellent DOF I like how the flower is in such good focus and the sharpness gives it an even better feeling of sense.
Appeal: 9 the shadow is throwing me off.

Challenge: 7 from reading the challenge I was needing something of a different color against a white background giving a high-key effect. I still like your shot very nicely done.
Techincal: 9 definetly a good high key shot I love the various lines and the house I think its a house big house but very nice.
Composition: 8 I would have took the shot more of the house and the 2 main trees and left the right side out or croped to that image area.
Appeal: 7 just not giving the pop or wow smacking my eyes.
Overall: 8

Cotton Boll Bowl

Challenge: 8 A very nice attempt and good use of the light colors. Original idea of using cotton.
Technical: 6 I think maybe a light projected at it would have enhanced the cotton fibers and the texture in the white background would have disappeared from the light.
Composition": 10 I call it centered right which gives a good effect on something with curves. Good choice of angle.
Appeal: 7 I liked the ripples in the background I liked the bowl enhancing curves I just needed less texture in the material used for the background.
Overall: 8
