There are lots of details of many objects in this photo which causes you to study the photo more deeply. The windows, ladder, welder. Great contrast and hues. Then you start thinking about where this broken train has been in it's working lifetime.

Congratulations in jumping into the "Free Study". The good thing about free studies is you have the freedom to come up with ANY idea and present it to everybody. As with any sport or hobby it takes lots of practice and study to archive good scores. I am afraid that the voters may not take good notice of this entry since they are tending to appreciate more of the upbeat photos. Don't be discouraged. Be encouraged to study what others are doing. I have no idea what type of equipment you have, but learn everything you can about your camera and what it can do for you. It is amazing what you can do with the simplest of cameras.
