I love the look of this one, the lighting and processing are very good. It seems as if the figure and the tree are hungering for a single ray of sunshine. What takes away from the image for me is the fact that the tree looks like a ficus and not a true bonsai tree (maybe it is some rare type of bonsai, but it sure looks like a ficus). Also the border on the right is a tad too cluttered. The more I look at it the more it seems like it is more about the guy than the tree. 6.

Absolutely great photo, but I'm not sure how it fits 'abstract macro'. It is certainly immediately identifiable.

I'm not sure if you wanted the reflection in or not, but if so, I think it would have been more effective if the reflection was more prominent.
