The old stonebridgeby Kaja LundComment: This is bold; making the bridge more interesting by not revealing it. Must be a feminine bridge, I guess. Anyway, it works ... the dark reflections and the viscous-looking water with its mysterious sub-surface swirls hint at what kind of a bridge this might be. Forces the viewer to imagine it. And there's nothing wrong with that, as an artistic proposition. 7. |

victoria falls bridge 1903by whiteroomComment: Nah ... 1903 is too early; the challenge period was Feb 2005. Sorry, just being a dumass. It's a very good photograph. Your composition (even if it is from a standard lookout spot) puts the bridge in context, which obviously adds to the impact. The bridge and the falls are each enhanced in interest by the presence of the other. 6 |

Bridge To The Cityby birdyblueComment: This is an arresting composition, and competently photographed as well. I hope you won't be offended if I say I think it's better than it appears at first glance ... what I mean is it rewards a more careful examination. 6. |

Bridge to My Imaginationby bigfishComment: But not, alas, to mine. I see your point (pardon the pun), and the photograph is certainly technically impressive, but it's really just a good picture of stationery ... not very stimulating. However, points for an original idea & points for a quality photograph. 5. |

...it's where it takes you...by MontereykiddoComment: This is very good. The bridge looks ethereal, & for that reason I wonder if you tried with the cow and all the grass cropped out? I feel the foreground diminishes the delicate character of the image. 6. |

Ready to get my groove on.by PedroComment: Been workin' out? Could be PS arms, I guess. It's a smooth, relaxed portrait. So relaxed it's easy to overlook the fact that it's a very high quality photograph. However, the Pedro promo really does diminish it's appeal a lot (stick your thumb over it & see for yourself). 7 |

Suits You Sirby mrmorrisComment: Great portrait, love the hat & the pose. It's a very clean, professional image with a touch of self-mockery about it that adds to its appeal. 7. |
