Ma And Paby redmoonComment: They look like nice parents to me. A very good, unpretentious photograph that nevertheless reveals something intimate about the character of the subjects; just what a family photograph should be. 8 |

Dance Little Sisterby PhilosComment: It's a terrific photograph. Title aside, it doesn't really suggest "family" to me, but I don't care about that at all. It is a wonderful, exuberant pose and a casual yet meticulous composition. Best of all, it's a great idea for a memorable image which I think both photographer and model will treasure forever. 10 |

Bondby TranquilComment: That's a very nice portrait. The severe cropping and especially the limited depth of field elevate it well above the ordinary for me. Love the title for this challenge, although there's something about your shot that conveys an unmistakable family relationship anyway. Well done. 8 |

Dad & Daughters by roadrunnerComment: Three daughters? Don't you think that's taking the Rule of Thirds too far? Lovely family scene. I especially like your POV ... it breaks the jumping daughters' earthly shackles entirely; joie-de-vivre! I'd have knocked a sliver off the side behind Dad, to lose the little square thing behind the tree. Otherwise it's terrific. 10 |

CockChafer Beetleby marboComment: You made that up! That can't really be its name, can it? Anyway it's an effective shot of the little bugger. 7 |

arachnid reflectedby les0910Comment: The outstanding bug shot of the challenge. You grasp what so many have overlooked; it's not the subject, it's the IDEA that matters most. Well done. 9 |

daisy impressionby ursulaComment: At last! A flower shot with some imagination and originality. This is terrific & shows what can be done if the brain is focused as well as the camera. 9

Remember Liberty on This Birthdayby fulgentComment: Oh, you'll be getting belted by all the Euroweenies etc. What's new? It's an OK image & a worthy sentiment. And it's not a flower. Happy birthday! 8
Back again the day after London ... now it's even more worthy. 10. |
