Love Karmann Ghias. This is a very nice photograph; super composition/crop (especially as you presumably had to set the composition up in advance). Also love the reflected columns in the fender. The long exposure element is OK, just enough for movement. Simple but effective. 7

Got my attention. It's very powerful, even without the terrific, disturbing title. Is it a relection in a window? Is that a light switch? Why is it there? Are those knees, in the bottom half of the image? Who never notices you? That's why I like it so much ... it's visually arresting and it raises more questions than it answers. My definition of art. 9

Corridor

Interesting and effective. The tones are terrific. The figure looks striking against the just-barely-there backdrop (which I assume is just a room in strong sunlight). Also love the square crop, which is unusual but arresting for this otherwise vertical subject. Makes for a really powerful composition. 8

The Bell Ringer

Very effective and unusual. It's clever, because the visually interesting part of the subject is the bell itself, and you've given us the opportunity to see it clearly (well, it's a tiny bit soft, but not enough to ruin the effect). Thus the blurred image of the bell ringer and his donger has two effects; it concentrates our attention on the bell, and it rings the bell (almost). 8

Pacific Nights

Really effective use of a longer exposure, and equally impressive use of the brain. Shows that there can be a lot more to long exposure than whirling sparklers or snaking car tail lights. Congratulations on producing this thoughtful, restrained, sympathetic study of your subject(s). 9

Now that is a very fine photograph and a sublime piece of art. Far and away my favourite (in a challenge in which I did not vote). It's simply a brilliant idea, superbly executed. How good? I think is was underestimated and misunderstood even by many who commented favourably on it!
