Magical Morning Mist by jemisonComment: A lovely, evocative scene, and a worthy celebration event. I especially like the fact that the beautiful mist produces a graduated contrast in the balloons, from ethereal at the bottom to sharply defined at the top. 7 |

Sox Win!!!by rayg544Comment: Clever and appealing. It's certainly a rare cause for celebration, too. Also a technically exemplary photograph. 7 |

'Celebrate the love of your life'by terjeComment: Absolutely love this image. There's so little in it, yet it is filled with interest and appeal. Not sure if it's all pure reflection or a bit of trickery, but either way it's fabulous. The juxtaposition of the exuberantly embracing couple & the carefully separated waiting commuters is really very clever. How I wish this would ribbon! 9. |

Autumn's Offeringby JutildaComment: This has a beautiful warm glow that is so appropriate to the feelings associated with Autumn. There's a sad, mellow emotion involved; every season is its own particular celebration and always has been. Your photograph proves that you understand that very well. 7 |

Before the gameby whiteroomComment: Terrific, chaotic scene. It's a very good street-type photograph, too. Looks almost like a snapshot at first, but it has so much more to offer. In particular, the marvellous individual contribution to the air of exuberance & celebration made by each of the six visible faces ... all different versions of the same emotions. Love it. 8 |

A Sister's Loveby oOWonderBreadOoComment: Very nice portrait ... the two expressions provide a lovely contrast in approaches to celebration of the familial relationship: she unselfconscious & abandoned; he formal & reserved. His eyes are terrific, too. Super lighting and processing. 8. |

...Happy Anniversary Keturahby saloonstudiosComment: If I understand this image properly, it's a very sad but very powerful moment, and a grown-up kind of celebration. Loss can be celebrated, too, and both subject and photographer have contributed to a moving celebration in this image. It's a finely judged composition, delicately exposed and processed. 8. |

School Holidays, YEEHAHby owenComment: Lovely image of adolescent joie-de-vivre! I still remember that feeling, and you've captured it beautifully. 8. |
