reflectionsby cginoComment: I suppose a reflector is an occupational inevitability for you?
I agree with the others below, except I spell colours different. I see different stars, as well. |

_C6M8304.jpgby Ecce_SignumComment: Me too for the original. This one's more coherent, and really very beguiling. Other one looks like too much lipstick by comparison. |

Finding Weegee The Famousby pawdrixComment: I saw a doco with one of the later NY street guys (Meyerowitz?) talking about Weegee the Famous. Had a collection of Weegee prints, as well, and some pictures of Weegee himself with a Speed Graphic the size of a truck battery. I'd like to have had that coffee break with you. |

Furtiveby GermaineComment: Oh, dammit! Somebody nicked their truck. It was parked right there last night.
Or has the absence of fog got me a little confused? Message edited by author 2009-01-02 22:48:45. |

I figured he was using that old submerging-in-the-creek escape trick again. |

by ErinMComment: Lotsa comments. Damn good ones, too ... look at all the lovely thoughts & emotions you've inspired! You got me, as well.
Nothing improves a photograph more than less information, don't you think? |

Rollby RetroesqueComment: This is one of the hardest things to do (or at least do well) with Lensbaby ... to put the sweet spot in the 'wrong' place and have it work so beautifully. The effect of deliberately focusing off-action like this is something I really enjoy; it somehow adds a whole new dimension of movement and meaning, when your eyes keep flicking down to that little cluster of wee pits in the concrete, and then back to the action, and then back to the concrete. Who'd have thought that such inconsequential details could drive the viewers attention so well? |

These are a few of my favorite thingsby Art RoflmaoComment: Are we supposed to find the Odd Man Out? I think it's probably the duck ... bastard looks left-handed to me. Although, that cowboy is standing a little funny; a tiny touch Brokeback, if you get my drift. |

Winter Graveyardby Bear_MusicComment: Yes it is very good, Bear. I linked to Igor Posner for someone else here recently (actually it was Germaine, I think). Now I must do the same for you. This has that Posner mood, like a slightly sullen hangover. |
