Turnby trevytrevComment: Me too (same impression as Bear ... a ceiling light was my thumbnail impression). You can never judge a photograph by its knobs.
Lovely toning. |

Pond Ice and Reeds, Afternoon Sunby Bear_MusicComment: I can't get away from the impression that these are two strange creatures with long snuffly noses, crawling from out of the sea onto the land for the first time. (clue: they are both looking left at the moment) |

The Bell Tolls for Theeby Art RoflmaoComment: Originally posted by Art Roflmao: Originally posted by benee: Very Hitchcock!! Love it - is this HDR? |
Not HDR. I've not delved into HDR waters as of yet. In fact, I can barely spell HDR. :) |
Yeah, that HRD stuff puzzles me as well.
It's a portentous photograph, with the tower, the bird & the cross. An ominous message from above. I think it means 'go to church, or I'll send a pigeon to crap on your car'. |

Meet Jackby Art RoflmaoComment: My dog is twice as tall and will only go in half as far. Jack's a regular adventurer by comparison. |

Downby MelethiaComment: The sweet spot (like the G spot) is difficult to locate and hardly worth the effort. Time spent searching for it is time spent neglecting the subject's more compelling attractions. Like in this photograph, where the story is about the pleasing convergence of shapes and colours, and their relationship with the less explicit human form. It's a very interesting and rewarding shot. The true LB afficionado cares little for 'nailing' the focus, and is instead more pleased to just flirt with focus. Both those spots are more the preoccupation of amateurs. |
