Sky Fallsby SchuffComment: I like this one the best. You can get a sense of scale with the large pine trees in the background. The low cloud (or fog) ceiling adds some drama. Another thing I like is the composition, the way the waterfall cuts across the image diagonally and the trees in the foreground right add more depth and dimension. Overall - very nice! |

Common Yellowthroatby scalvertComment: Your comments explain a bit why the bird looks lopsided! ;^) Glad the bird is OK. Very colorful. Good catch! |

sasha029.jpgby LKMoteComment: What a FACE! I'm sure that expression means something..."put down the camera"..."leave me alone"..."you bugging me again". He-he. Nice capture - one you should enjoy for many years as a print somewhere. |

sweet dreamby asijComment: Wow! What a difference between this image and the last one of yours I just looked at. Why such a big difference in noise? ISO settings, cropping? Hmmm. Love the color and composition in this one. |

Prayerby asijComment: Nice silhouette. Good eye to capture this image. There seems to be quite a bit of noise in the sky. The silhouetted areas have a nice deep black to them. I wonder if you could either clean up the noise in the sky bg - OR - introduce some noise to the black silhouette areas? Not sure...anyway, nice catch. Smile and keep having fun! |

Watching craftby PollyBeanComment: This is an interesting image. My eyes are worn out trying to find a place to land. ;^) Unfortunately they end up in the boys armpit, his nose, or the girls mouth. I see where you applied what looks like gaussian blur - perhaps try feathering the blur substantially more so the effect is more gradual. If you want to lose the eyes entirely I would also up the gaussian blur level a few notches.
I have a feel for where you wanted to go with this. Great idea. Just needs a little fine tuning...that of course is my humble opinion only! ;^) Smile and keep having fun! |

Woody Point Light Colour.jpgby orussellComment: Very, very nice capture! I like the way the natural lines work in this composition. The fog in the hills make it appear to be repeating. Good sky and nice positioning of the lighthouse. Only nit is the horizontal line appears to be tilted a bit left...needs a bump to the right of about 2 degrees. Smile and keep having fun! |

nature-hunting.jpgby DonaldComment: Get out of the car already! How do you expect to capture anything that way? He-he. Looks like a good place for a rod & reel. Hope you had fun! |

Days Gone Byby BRCPRESComment: Somehow it doesn't look real. It's the blurred green in the corners...makes the barn look like a toy - seriously. That's just my first impression - I'm not trying to give you a hard time or anything. Of course once my eyes took in the rest of the image it's quite evident that the barn is real for sure with the foliage, etc...
Shame you have to lose such a wonderful subject for photography to development... Smile, and keep having fun! |

Balanceby RikkiComment: This is cool, but I like the other one better. The lighting had more impact on the other and you've picked up some jaggies on the glass rim in this. Also feels a bit "tight" in the composition. |
