Poiseby RebeccaComment: Nothing personal, but it kind of looks like a tourist snapshot in a way. Probably the distracting background that's giving me this impression. Certainly a fun venue to attend I'll imaging! ;^) |

Up, Up and Awayby faidoiComment: Good choice for B/W. It helps diffuse what probably was some harsh lighting conditions and removes distracting colors - allowing the viewer to focus more on the action. |

Milling about ... but watchingby lahernComment: If only the sheep in the center (looking at the camera) had been in focus this could be fun. Also seems a bit underexposed. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Watch Out !!by ingibComment: Good action, tough lighting. You've lost some impact with the front of him being in shadows. Of course, if he was turned around then it would be harsh? Maybe some fill-flash would have worked? Just a thought. Good luck. |

Hairy Trotterby scalvertComment: Nice panning shot! This technique works well here to take away the distracting background. Too bad you couldn't get one with a happy couple in the carriage. ;^) |

Can You Dig Itby mordilloComment: Nice action shot as far as capturing the moment. The harsh lighting (flash) throws this off some. Looks a little flat also, like it could use some contrast. |

Just for a momentby edmengComment: This is a cool shot, and that backgroud color! Wow! Almost could have been just a little faster on shutter speed - the surfer is slightly blurred (not very much, just a little). Very nice capture. Good luck. |

Safe!by PhantomEWOComment: Didn't you find it amusing that there is an exciting play at the plate going on and fellow teammate #22 doesn't appear to have any interest in what happens? ;^) Good job of capturing the timing of the slide correctly. How deep were you on aperture? I wonder if there was enough distance between the play and the stands to have blurred them out some with a shallower choice? |
