Soft and Sereneby robinssongComment: Well it is a pet portrait, but one well done at that. Wonderful focus - I can almost feel the fur it's so detailed. If I could make one change it would be to have the cat looking just a little more toward you, but it's still fine as is. Everything else, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Master of Ceremoniesby elemessComment: This is fun. I like the emotion and you've captured some of this guy's character. Little motion adds to the realism of this portrait. Auctioneer? Well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Swan Signetby trainComment: Ok. People portraits obviously ok. Pet portraits, mostly fine. Portrait of a swan? Hmmmm...little bit of a stretch IMO. What you have put together in this photo is nice. The swan is very well represented in color and focus. The background water pattern is quite different. Seems unnatural, although I'm sure it is. Anyway, best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Luminescenceby bryantbusComment: Nice composition. The fan adds a nice touch. The eyes are well focused, which is good, but the makeup (white streak) is not so flattering. A little over the top on the red lipstick as well. Probably what you were going for, but not overly appealing for me personally. Also just noticed that the area under her chin appears yellowish in relation to the rest of her face and neck. Good luck in the challenge. |

Wistfulby dahvedComment: Love the expression on her face. Nice candid pose. Wish the tonal range was a little wider. Either needs some levels adjustment and/or added contrast IMO. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Waitingby JeniYComment: And she's STILL waiting while you take the photograph. :D Items well positioned for this shot. Nice color tones. The texture in her jacket seems almost 3D-ish - jumps right out there. Proper expression on her face. Only nit is her hat blending into the wall being the same colors. Good luck in the challenge. |

Warmthby sgauriaComment: Ok. Hurry up and take the shot would ya? :D Love the expression on her face. An attractive lady that is well represented by this photograph. She's lucky to have you behind the camera. Well done! Good luck in the challenge. |

Day Tripperby ZigomarComment: This guy has character! The image is a little grainy, but it almost seems intentional? Perhaps to match the wood grain and background? Or maybe to mask a face that wasn't quite sharp enough? Hmmm. Regardless, I like this photo very much and wish you luck with it in the challenge. |

A girl and her catby JudiComment: This is one of those photos you put in a frame for this young lady to hang onto and enjoy for many years. She'll probably enjoy it much more 30 years from now. :D Well focused on the girl, which is primary. I have to wonder about your choice to go B/W. It works fine, but I'm curious how the color version looked. Anyway, overall, well done! Good luck in the challenge. |
