Waterfrontby crabappl3Comment: You've captured so many wonderful colors in this image, and then repeating them off the surface of th water, which makes them seem to glow, really warms my heart when I view this image. Nicely composed, and the perfect exposure. Very nice <8> |

Sittin on a dock in the bayby cwyouComment: I like this shot, with the long reflections in the water. I'm not sure I would have split the image in such even parts. I think it might have been a little more interesting if either the water or the sky were heavier than the other. <6> |

2068 Mainby RolandBComment: Great capture. Nice lighting. Funny I took a shot very similiar to this one last week, just the day before the challenge started. You have a lot of nice warm colors in this shot. I hope you do well. <8> |

my fatherby da-answerComment: Congratulations. You have a winner here. I'm sure of it. This is the stand out image of the entire group. I think a lot of people don't realize that "late night" happens inside as well as out. This is a wonderful image, with a lot of interest, and a lot of wonder light. Thank you for staying inside. <10> |

April Showersby TooCoolComment: This surprises me, that it didn't finish much higher. I thought this was one of the premier shots of the challenge. Nicely done! |

Revelationby BlimComment: Very nice shot. Still my favorite shot of the challenge. I'm surprised this did not finish in the top 5 or even top 3. Very nicely done. |

Nice job. This was one of my favorite pics in this challenge. Should have finished much higher. Top 10 at least. Nice job. Keep up the good work...!

2677Deniz_sm.jpgby aKiwiComment: I like this one as well, probably my second favorite. Interesting pose, but becareful of cutting people off at the neck, or at any joint. The horizon is getting her just about at the hip, and tends to cut her in two. When photographing people, always pay close attention to the joints (wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, waist, neck), and don't let them be intercepted or let them leave the sides or bottom of the image. Just looks funny. Sometimes not so funny. Other than that, I like this image. As I said, I love to pose, that sort of carefree feeling. Your model works well with you. Good Luck ! |

2782Deniz_sm.jpgby aKiwiComment: Ditto! This is a very nice shot and easily the best of the group, in my opinion. Her eyes capture your attention and hold it. The lighting might be just a teeny-tiny bit harsh on the right side, but not too bad. You have a great model. Co-worker, you say. I would stay in her good graces, 'cus I have a feelin' or at least I should say, I hope we will be seeing a lot more of her. Keep up the good work, you are off to a terrific start if this is your first time attempting this. Keep on goin', you're doin' good. Good Luck! :-) |
