On The Outside Looking Inby woodseyComment: you'll probably get reemed for doing a cat, but the actual problem is the tipped image. This subject warrants a straight up and down and, crop out the power line and the elephant which only serve to distract. Hope that helps :) |

The Bats' Meow by rjksteschComment: The lighting on this is so perfect, great settup, perfect focus, good job on the carving, like the way the stems are pointed creating leading lines.
My only suggestions - could do without the stuff on the right, it a little busy as is, and the window lines make it look tilted left, perhaps you could have tilted the image to the rt and cropped a touch off the bottom. But thats just nit picky suggestions cause it's so close to perfect! |

Cygnus Olorby TallblokeComment: This is absolutly magnificent! I am ashamed for my fellow voters that were stupid enough to give it anything less than a 5, all 59 of them! Any that had qualms about the Light on White need to think of the reason for the exercise, which is to excellently photograph almost white (on) white without loosing form, or dulling or blowing out the brighter end of the tones. The less color the greater the challenge. You dared to shoot ALL white and did so beautifully!
Love how neat image adds a dreamy 'marble-like' feel, as sglantz put it. |
