For me, the narrow depth of focus actually obscures the pattern rather than features it.

I find it hard to evaluate this photograph because of the emotions I feel aroud the event. Whatever point value I decide to give it, it has made me think..

I like your use of depth of field. This reminds me of the story of Jumping Mouse. I find I like your photo better the longer I look at it.

Good catch. Myself a mild-mannored programmer by day, I tried to come up with something about what I do but I did not get any inspiration.

I like everything lit by the monitor and soft focus. I've done that before. Diet Dr Pepper is my drug of choice, though. :)

This is almost really good. I think that the subject is just a bit over exposed and there is something about the framing that I can't put my finger on. I like the colors and the way the background has receeded.
