Tear Drop Blues by kosmikkreeperComment: An ecellent concept this. The exposure and/or harshness of light seems just a little too high for a 9 to me. You have a great imagination. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. |

Mightier than the Swordby magnusComment: This was alovely concept. Good composition. It's just lacking something in the lighting somehow. Perhaps a softer/warmer source? (It must have taken time to clean the nib before resting the pen back on the paper!?) |

Chilledby KonadorComment: I think would have been worth another point had the focus zone been more on the "object identifying" pull-tag. A more blue light source might have bumped it even one more. Good concept. Keep it up! |

Lite Nite Callby wytemyke79Comment: This may have turned out a lot better using a slightly shorter shutter and a mini tripod plus timer to get the camera dead still. Like the colours and cropping. Good composition. |

Mental povertyby Mad-DComment: For what it's worth, I personally believe the wide black frame is very much required for this image to maintain intensity.
It seems quite a few people don't like frames for some reason. Yet every picture has a frame, like it or not. "Why not make the frame work for the photo instead of against it?" I say.
This is my favourite shot of the challenge. Pity I missed the voting. |

Juneby BeetleComment: Perfect for June, well lit and nocely executed. I just plain like this. Enjoy your 8. |

Octoberby slynneblarpComment: Yummie! (or not :) I think the focal point should have been lower down (not that I really want to see what's lower down more in focus... but none the less...) The dark eyes have this one begging for a fairly heavy black frame for a white callendar page I think. 6. |

Novemberby SammieComment: The long exposure evident in the waterfall bares testiment to the dead still air here. Nicely cropped. The birds in flight become a distraction as a result unfortunately. But what a silly detail - this is nicely executed and deserves an 8. |

September by moodvilleComment: Sometimes one just has to say "10!" even before they've given it much thought. In this case, the thought didn't change my mind. The black frame suits this image well. |
