Audioby tyrkinnComment: Ummm... would that be "electronic" audio? Or just the vocal audio? It's a neat shot, but the presence of "electronic" causes me to vote much lower since it was so hard to find low-tech without electronic. Or something like that. But is *is* a cool photo! |

I AM Listening Coachby jazzmikComment: I think a tighter crop around just the coach and the player would have carried this off much better. Without your title, the coach is barely noticble this way. Now if you could have been right down there on the court with a narow aperture... (I jest! :) |

Warmthby joannsComment: Deserved a much higher score imo.
The general requirement for portraiture seems to be to eliminate shadows on the subject. Poohee! I just LOVE your lighting! It's so natural and warm. The shadows are perfect. Well cast model too. Awesome. |

Sylviaby joannsComment: Put another "freakin excellent" in your cookie jar. Outstanding work! I hope not to replicate this quality too soon myself as I'm still rather enjoying the *journey* toward perfection. |

Anglesby rightsaidfredComment: Another classic example of photographers wanting to see the perfect photo and not a piece of art rending you a far lower than reasonable score imo. I gave you 8, but after seeing you final score I wished I'd made it 10.
I just want to encourage you to continue creating art with you photography. Anyone can point a camera at an already amazing subject, shoot and fix it up in photoshop later. What you do is more than that. Keep it up!

Body in greyby TiagoComment: Cast the light just right to avoid the knee (distracting), remove the objects at the right background and this shot is a solid 10 imo. Awesome balance of negative space also imo. If this is self portrature you are to be complimented on an excellent pose under the timer. The subject himself needs no further compliments. Beautiful. 8. Bumped to 9. What can I say. I just love the form :) Good luck! |

Unexpected Invitation by ZoomdakComment: Unexpected Invitation is the better choice for title imo.
Even before I read the description of how you found the view and eventually decided to include the bench - I could "feel" the invitation in the title.
It's an outstanding shot. I wonder if levelling the horrizon line would improve it even more? Or is that intended or an optical illusion in this case? Well done! |

Milk warming, black clouds roiling ...by markmulkerinComment: Lovely title. Nicely saved photo shoot session. Don't you hate it when your model packs a sad over remuneration terms?! :)
The lighting is soft, yet focus sharp. Contrast and shade range very good. Not too bright allowing the teeth to say their two cents worth. I like it. 9. Good luck! |

Jby ChefcoreyComment: Your best self portrait to date imo. (hoping I have that right. I'm pretty sure it's you... I'll have to come back and check afterward.) I don't care what some may say about a facial shadow or too. This looks like outdoor, natural light (whether it is or not). 10. Good luck! |
