Man, this would've been one of my top picks, but the whole image is washed out quite a bit. Would look good with more contrast and saturation...and maybe a little broader angle on the buggy so as to see a little more of the horse and side of the carriage.

Score 1 from me. ;-) Kidding. You should've called it "Wagon 10" though. ;-)
Photographically - it's got lots of problems (for me). Lighting reflection, angle, focus, tabletop, cropping - all wrong for my taste. Biggest issue though is What the heck am I looking at?? :-) Sorry. I can think of some funnier titles for you though: "The first atomic bomb is transported to the Enola Gay" or "A truck delivering the worlds largest black olive, passes under the city limits sign." ...I'll keep working on it. ;-)

Beautiful shot and EXCELLENT title! I like the colors - interestingly, I don't even think this would be as good in BW. I think you nailed my top pick so far. Great job.

Pretty decent entry, but lighting is a little red and I think it might've been more effective if the wrench could've been sitting in the bottom of an old toolbox. Good job though.

What a coincidence! I am sitting here typing my remarks on an old Underwood! ...oh wait, nevermind - what I mean is I am sitting here in my 'old underwear' typing my remarks. :-P
Just funnin'. I like this shot and it is one of the first things I thought of in regards to the challenge topic. Crop might be a little too tight and you could've put some paper in it with some old typing on it for more dramatic effect, but overall one of the top pics.

I agree with the title! If it wasn't for that lamp in the background, firemen wouldn't be able to see the fire hydrant to put out the fire! ;-) I'm being facetious, but now that I think about it, maybe you were including the lamp in your title? If that's the case, I would change my comments to "...and provide a beacon for dogs to relieve themselves." ;-) As far as the photo - cropping is good, composition good, challenge appropriateness ok, focus and depth are off though.

This is the first one I've seen that compares old and new although not directly. If you could've gotten a modern street lamp on the right - it would be a point or 2 higher from me.

Photo emphasis is more on the creek, the tree and the leafy ground. Took me quite a few cycles of reading the title, staring, reading the title, etc. to even see the wall. Otherwise a nice photo.

Oooh. <- That utterance means your photo evoked an immediate reaction. After further study... Ooooh! ;-) I like everything about this shot, but probably the biggest contributing factor is the angle. Great job.
