Head over heels..by Ragga2000Comment: Nice idea. You ALMOST nailed the execution. This would have been really cool if you could have softened the wrinkles out of the sheeting and isolated just her face and the footsies.
Other nitpicks include the low photo dimensions and the overly close crop at the big toe...
Her hair and face look quite nice. |

Lolitaby mannjuditComment: Questions I asked myself when viewing this picture:
How old is she? Why does she look so uninterested? Is she jaded because she is an unhappy exploited youth? Is the flat, dull lighting trying to complement her expression?
I'm sorry, but there is context missing in this picture that I am missing.
To me, she looks quite a bit older than the expression "lolita" would typically encompass. She doesn't look like an exploited underage street walker.
I will give the benefit of the doubt though... |

Birds of a feather flock togetherby jdannelsComment: This looks really cool. Birds are so hard to catch in flight. Much more so two of them.
I'd love to know how you managed to get the sun looking like that. Do you have some sort of funky filter or something? |

It'll only hurt for a minute!by NowaytotellComment: Yikes, this is kind of a scary picture! I'm not sure what the stitching job is intended to be, and it looks like someone has already been at it.
Compositionally it's ok, albeit a bit soft in the sharpness on the pliers, but conceptually, this picture bothers me... I almost couldn't choose a number for the vote. |

Dressed To The Ninesby PleasantDreamsComment: As a guy who has been known to cut a rug here and there and has his own set of vintage 1950's saddle shoes, I'm digging the style here, but photographically, it's got some issues.
Direct flash caused strong shadowing. The BG is somewhat dismal (big white sheets are usually preferred over security signs and birdhouses). The WB is wrong, causing a blue cast (which has done some really bad things to happen throughout the picture, but especially in the flesh tones.... this might also have been the fault of auto levels? I find that it doesn't like skin tones much) and it appears oversharpened, particularly in the grass and the pinstripes in our hep cat's zoot.
It seems swing is still hanging on.
Keep swingin' and keep shootin'! |

Drink & Driveby amit_sahaComment: Interesting title.
I wonder how many others will catch on the twist of having it stated as a positive "drink and drive" vs "Don't Drink and Drive"...
It then becomes "drink and drive and you get this"
Very nicely encapsulated and well presented with a strong urban PJ feel.
I feel that the B&W treatment is a good choice here, but I'm finding something about it a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it's the sharpness. Maybe it's the slight jaggies in the taxi... Have you tried using multiple step-downs for resize for web instead of one big jump? It's not always perfect, but it can sometimes help. There is of course an actual limit to certain things in 640x480... |

'Til I'm Blue in the Faceby nards656Comment: It's a pretty clear portrait, but I'm having trouble with linking it to the meaning of the saying *doing something* until you are blue in the face... The portrait is too restive for me to link with this saying. The face is not nearly blue enough either. |
