Tea, Anyone?by sanyComment: It feels like this picture needs a little more on the right and a little less on the left.
Very nicely lit though! |

Tomato Juice, et.al.by strangeghostComment: Looks like you worked pretty hard to get your lines straight on the edges and balance your light/reflections. Nicely done on those aspects.
There are a few aspects of your picture that made me feel very bland towards it.
- the primary element of the picture seems to be the V8, but it's cut off.
- the eye is drawn, not to the V8, but to the burnout spot in Vegetables.
- there are some other minor things as well that I didn't like, but I don't think they are as important as having a main element clear in your picture. |

A Glass of Colaby LongComment: wow! That's some amazing light effects. I can't say I much like the top half of the picture. What did you do to it? |

Bartender......there's a FLY in my drink !!by ShutterPugComment: I was thinking about doing this exact thing with a fly in a drink and a big nasty bug on the surface of a bowl of soup.
Nice idea, Nicely done. Very well let. My challenge suffered greatly from bad reflections in glass. You managed to deal with that very well. |

The Cook's Fortifierby quiet_observationComment: This is a really nice picture, but I wish it didnt' have that can in the back. Also, the lemon isn't very nice looking.
The colours are great. You might try to play with curves to get the background to full black, or possibly contrast, which might bring out even more pink and green.
Great Choices! |

Grass Seedby cornettcagComment: This is interesting. I like the green throughout and I like the synchronized bend. I wonder if you have tried playing with rotation to see if there are other positions where these angles might be more effective?
Also, it might have been nice if the common shape in the bend was highlighted a little more by taking the picture from a different angle and slightly more on the side of the grass.
Nice focus and nice detail, I bet this really pops at higher resolutions. |
