Sweet Nothingsby namComment: Is it useful to say things as: I love the colours, I love the DOF, the focus?
Probably not, because this would not be a "constructive" comment. But, honestly, those are the only things I can say regarding your entry. One of my favs and I do hope this will ribbon. |

In The Eye Of The Beholderby KiritoComment: Since I'm giving this a rather low score, I feel I ow you an explanation on the reason why.
A few points seem to be missed during the execution of this photograph.
I would preferred a focus on the eye itself instead of on the lashes at the bottom right.
The ring flash's distracting. I understand you've used a ring flash because of the macro. But somehow I would have preferred seeing the reflection of a softbox. Or...the ring flash which was centred around the pupil. Don't know what effect this would have given; it's just an idea you know. But one I'm not totally convinced of myself.
Your WB looks also off; as if you've shot this under a UV light.
Perhaps all these points were intentional. In this case I'm really ridiculing myself now. If not intentional then this is worth giving it another try. I do hope I'm not offending you with all this. |

Green Applesby PaulG13Comment: Don't know why, by I tend to watch this upside down so that the apples don't lay on the mirror, but would "hang" on it...
I wonder if it would make a difference in perception.
Enjoy your apple :) |

"When You Wish Upon a Star... " by LydiaComment: Looking at the reflection: if you rotate it to the left, the bum at its reflection becomes the head seen from on top and the nose and his right eye becomes the bum and 2 rear legs (sorry, just my imagination).
I like the twinkles above the water surface. They support the title of your work. Very well done. |

Inch by inchby mefnjComment: A precious caterpillar which will become a beautiful butterfly. Nice how you're showing how tiny she is on this big leaf. Nice details and dof. |

Flutterby markwileyComment: Very beautiful. The water looks as you've unleashed a selective desaturation on it, while this did not the case. The tension of the water surface underneath the leaf, the ripples of the streaming water, the light reflection: all comes perfectly together. |

On The Greenby WarbyComment: Reminds me of an entry of a few challenges ago, called "Circus" by h2 :)
No matter how I try, I just can't find glass balls like these.
A plain simple maximum of score because I just adore the crispiness, the vibrant colours, the refraction, and of course, the glass balls themselves. |
