Vanishing Pointby daevansComment: This hallway seems to go on, and on, and on... Simple but effective interpretation of the challenge team. |

Reflectedby bspurgeonComment: This photograph has so much to discover in. Where exactly is the sky, what is a reflection and what not,... Great contrast also |

Escalator's perspectiveby redpandaComment: Nice perspective. Despite the reflections I'm getting a claustrophobic feeling when looking at it. (this will not influence my voting ;) ) |

Cold silenceby rio78Comment: The cold in the front and the warm glow over the mountains are a beautiful contrast in this photograph. In a way I'm glad that there are no footsteps in the snow. |

Downy Jacket Keeps a Body Warmby scooter97Comment: I can't believe that
1. this got only 2 comments
2. it didn't end up higher in ranking.
What I find great is the detail in the feathers. Even with the sun shining on them, you've captured all the details in it. This doesn't cause any problem in the darker part of his body either. Often one would see that feathers are well exposed, but - in this case - the head and more specifically the eyes would be underexposed.
Ok, the branches are maybe not the most ideal, but hell, you can't start removing them, you can't ask the bird to turn around to the other side, or to go and sit somewhere else.
Ideal shots can only be created in studio. In nature, one has to work with what he gets. And frankly, you did a great job on this one. Message edited by author 2010-02-13 17:33:38. |

On the Other End of the Lensby InsomniacComment: The sharpness seems to be on the shoulder and arm of the lady in front. In other words, this would seem to be the main subject of the photograph. Why not the face of the lady as if the model is focusing on her? |
