Up The Riverby vtruanComment: Good stop motion and tracking of subject.
Placement of subject moving out of image throws the whole balance of the picture off and the dark vs light horizon, makes the image appear tilted in just the wrong direction as well. The duck's coloration blends too much with the river's shadows.
Great Tracking - Poor Image. |

Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!by hajekaComment: Not enough subject, too much environment.
Good job of stopping motion. Little too much sharpen (jaggies)
Nice colors on Train. Rest of image is really dull and take a lot away. |

Dance trioby natalka9Comment: Colors are muted and shadowed heavily. Image subject is not interesting.
Not motion panning -- this is long exposure.
The environment is stationary. The subjects are blurred (in motion). To achieve motion panning, you should have a slow exposure and be tracking a moving subject so that you stop the motion of the subject and blur the background, leaving the impression of action (often fast action). |

Speedby oscarmeyerComment: Tilted perspective adds something to this image. Gives it the feel of speed, going downhill. Motion tracking was a bit off, leaving subject blurry like camera shake. Great finishing work and clarity/cleanness of picture. |

Bird Flewby samhallComment: Nice job on the stop motion/tracking of the head and placement of the subject. Coloration is unfortunate and takes away from the impact the image could have had if the water had been a brilliant blue. |

approaching h y p e r s p a c eby SkipComment: Excellent capture. Nice job of stopping motion in the window of the taxi. Brilliant colors, great placement/size of subject compared to the rest of the image. Has a nice punch factor - image stands out well. Nice finesse. |

high-speed callerby Len ScapComment: I cannot tell what it is about this image that 'went wrong...' It appears extremely overexposed as well as oversharpened. A good job of stopping motion, however the subject appears ready to drive off the picture, instead of driving into the image, which is considered a poor composition choice. |

Here's looking at you, kid!!by JudiComment: Nice capture. Good job of panning and stopping motion. Preferred crop would have been only superkid...that would have had some real punch! |

Gulls in Flight, Winter Dawnby Bear_MusicComment: this does not appear to be motion panning, but rather, long exposure with a stationary camera. I love the image and give the benefit of the doubt. |
