Simply Refreshing

Nicely timed and lit but this image is a little bit to "messy" for my taste, what I mean is that I think the splash is too violent for lack of a better word. Also, there are a lot of distracting details in the image like the reflection in the bottle showing your legs and what looks like a hallway, the drops on the bottle look chaotic as they are too few to make it seem that you had them there on purpoise and that red/brown stuff behind the glass is distracting. A good effort though and above average in the challenge so it got a 6 from me.

Nicely lit, makes the image very mysterious and me curious on what this vodka tastes like. 8 from me, only thing I dislike about it is the backround.

Nicely done, I like this shot but I would have liked it heaps more if you could have lit the bottle the same amount but the glass a little more and another combination of shutterspeed, aperture and ISO would let you get some texture to the flames, then this image would have been superb. (7)

Just A Little Early

Not a bad idea at all but it´s a little bit dark for my taste, so dark I can´t make out any details at all in the shot so I ony gave it a 4.

Looks extremely jummy and I want one. The backround fits perfectly with the image. However, the image is a bit dark and flat for my taste, I bet I would like it a whole lot more with a simple "s-curve". (6)

Top Shelf

Nicely lit and good sharpness, technically this is pretty well done. However, I have to put a questionmark about your composition, I don´t understand why you have all that room to the left of the vodka bottle and then cut off part of the martini glass on the right, I would have liked this shot a whole lot better if it wasn´t like that and also I feel that the top of the bottle should be in the shot. Just my 2 cents and if you disagree I totally respect that, this is just my opinion. (5)

A drink too many

Love the colour contrast, the blue in the glasses contrasts very well with the red backround. However, my eye ist still a little bit distracted by the strong lines in the backround and I keep looking at the backround instead of the glasses but it doesn´t hurt the image too much and I still gave it an 8 as this is pretty well executed technically.

Coffee break

Nice shot, looks like a good place to take a coffee break, where is this taken, I get a very "australian" feel from this picture even though I have never been there. Anyway, I still would have liked this shot a whole lot better if it weren´t for the green hue cast and maybe a wider shot with the rest of the truck all in the frame...

Wine Red

This shot is very odd looking and you know what, I like it. I still have some reserve about the monotone red, I think that I personally would have liked this shot better if there were some other colour in the shot contrasting the red but well it works pretty well as it is. Perhaps some, I dunno, green liquid within the glass itself? Just a thought... Anyway, nice work, gave it an 8.

I bet some people are putting a question mark as to wether this is fitting with the challenge, I totally understand them but I voted as if it fit the challenge although I think this is in a grey area. Anyway, I don´t want to sound like a pyromaniac but I LOVE the flames, it´s got a great colour and texture too it and looks very cool and also fitting to have the people in the backround slightly out of focus. However, I strongly dislike just seeing the back of the head of the firebreather so I only gave this a 6.
