Sorry but I voted as if it was off topic, I mean come on? Why has a picture of a cheetah (however you spell it or whatever anmial it is) in a christmas catalouge? Maybe if it had a santa claus hat or something on...

Shame, as I like the shot, excellent sharpness and expousure, it was the only thing that prevented me from giving a 1, ended up clicking the 2 button. Would probably have given this a 7 in the "at the zoo" challenge.

Gotta say I strongly dislike the selective desat here but I didn´t let that affect my score. Shot is nice, lit decently and in focus but just not really that eyepopping. Still gave it a 6 but I can´t help but wonder if I hadn´t liked the colour version better...

A little too dark for my taste, I would have liked this shot more if you had brightened it up a bit, it´s kindof dark and gloomy as it is.

Nice job on freezing the action, however the shot is either very soft or just out of focus and that drags it down a notch. Still better than most shots in the challenge, gave it a 6.

Spoons

I have to say that to me this is a very poor selection of DOF. Nothing really seems to be in good focus, neither the end part of the spoons or the part with the stuff in it so it just doesn´t work like this. Seems your focus point is somewhere on the handle of the spoons... Also not really understanding why you cut off parts of the end of the spoons and have so much space up in the left corner, I would have had all the parts of the spoons in the frame. On the positive side it seems well exposed and wb looks correct, a bit flat though, could use some more contrast. Couldn´t bring myself to give a higher rating than a 4 even though it´s obviously on topic...

I dunno, I have to say that it´s very hard to see what is in the picture if I didn´t know what the theme of the challenge was about, I probably would have guessed this to be rose petals if this had been in the free study. Anyway, like the colour, other than that pretty mediocre so I gave it a mediocre score of 5...
