Light & Shadowby cmeierComment: Pretty cool effect you got there with the lightsphere but other than that this shot doesn´t do all that much for me, would have been so cool if you had the crazy scientist guy with the red hair and glasses and then this lightsphere, now THAT would have been cool :) Still very nice though and I gave this a nice score, got a 7 from me. |

Inferno by kiwinessComment: Love this shot, especially the backround (you gotta tell me how you did that backround, I love it!!!), it really makes it pop off the screen. Would have given this a 10 but I am not really all that fond of the post processing on the skin, too smooth and plastikky so I slipped this one a 9. |

"Amanda'by tfarrell23Comment: I gotta say that you must have screwed up in setting the WB correctly or you really screwed up in the post processing. I can´t imagine her having such a red face in person and what is up with those whites of the eye? They are blue? Shame as the girl seems very lovely, I don´t think this photo does her justice.
3 tips for you to improve your score. 1. Make sure you set the WB correctly if you are shooting .jpg, it´s very hard to adjust later. 2. Make the most use of 640px max dimension. 3. If you are not sure what to do with the photo in photoshop, don´t do anything but basic adjustments to colour, contrast, cropping and sharpening, too much post processing is the easiest way to ruin a perfectly good photo... |

Unveiledby librodoComment: Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, wonder who´s shot this is :)
Well Manny, sorry but comparing this to your textures shot this isn´t spectacular at all but comparing this to the rest of the shots in the challenge it´s pretty friggin awesome, like the lighting as always and while the textures shot was composed better, this is very well composed too. Gave this an 8 and I figure you are kicking my butt, just glad we are not competing against you guys in week 3 but prepare to go down in week 4 :) |

Lightby elsapoComment: A self portrait Justin or is this the work of one of your friends? Very nice anyway, like the lighting but it´s just not quite as striking as your yellow ribbon shot in Colour Portrait last fall and in that I don´t mean the person in the shot, your other shot was just composed and lit better. Anyway, like this a lot, you got a 7 from me :) |

"Terry"by sfarrell23Comment: Well, wide lenses aren´t really used for portraiture and this is a fine example as to why, because of the wide lens and the fact that his hand is closer to you than his head his hand looks as big as his head! Other than that pretty good but if I may make a suggestion would be to light up the face and in particular eyes a little more with something, a reflector should do the job. |

A Frog and His Makerby timfythetooComment: Nice, not a person shot in a portrait challenge and you know what, I still think it perfectly fits :) Nice job on the lighting, good idea and well executed. 7 from me. |
