I think this would have been a much stronger photograph if the house had been composed according to the rule of thirds.

No kidding! Who would drag out a piano and office chair in the middle of the street to play! Hehe, people can be strange :) Great shot, wish there was a strong face in there somewhere for me to really relate to this shot, that is the reason I am "only" voting a 7 for this.

Nicely done, I dig that sky and clarity is top notch, great colors. Only thing is I feel like this has been shoehorned into the challenge by use of the title, I only deducted a point though.

Really dig the reflection in the guitar, only nitpick is I would have cropped out a bit at the top and right side of the frame to eliminate some of that backround but I dig this, also the lighting is good. 7

I dunno, I kindof dig the use of negative here, very surreal. 6

NO offense meant of course but when I first saw this shot, I just went looking all over for the subject of this photo and found nothing of interest. Simply put, I view this photo and think to myself "this is a photo of nothing". Had you included something, like a boat, bridge, cliff or the sun rising it would have been a different matter :) As it is though it´s hard to vote this anything but a 5 as it´s hardly bad but not good either. Oh and a friendly pice of advice unless you plainly forgot or didn´t have time, try to fix slanted horizons next time, they tend to drag your scores down here at DPC :)

I dunno, I don´t really have anything against this location but I have seen so many photos from here I am slowly getting tired of them unless they really tackle something new, Jason or Thomas, if this is yours, you know I got nothing but respect for both of you but you can do better :)

While I have nothing against stratrails, I actually dig them normally, they kindof don´t work for me for this particular photo as they compositionally draw my eye away from the boat and up to the right corner of the photo, I think I would have preferred it if you somehow would have had only still stars in this one but otherwise unaltered. Still above average in the challenge so I voted a 6.

Sorry but this to me just seems like a poorly thought out snapshot, I think you can do much better, especially with the composition. I would have either moved to the left or swung the camera that way to lose that rooftop in the lower right corner and also not had so much empty space towards the top of the picture, there really is no place for the eye to stop with this composition. If you are new to photography, try reading up on the rule of thirds and use it for a while, if you are not and just experimenting with this shot, by all means ignore this advice :)
