Into Piecesby phatphotoComment: Well frankly I don´t fint the subject all that interesting, maybe a more macro approach would fix that. 5 |

ONIONSby roby21112Comment: Well not bad but I have to put a ? about the processing here, looks like you neat imaged the heck out of this one since there is so little detail left in the faces of the guys and looks like the onions on the table were severely overexposed and then brought back in raw conversion. Also some strong artefacting in their clothes, mostly in the shadow areas. My suggestion would have to keep the noise in and make this black and white, that would eliminate the attention going to the red and yellow parts of the photos and be more about the guys and I find noise/grain quite acceptable in B/W. Sorry but cause of the image quality/post processing and the snapshottish look of this image I voted it a 4. |

Nativity Sceneby faeryComment: Pretty good shot, would have liked to see a little bit more of the actual environment though, like a wider shot showing also their house and not just them standing in the doorway but like I said, a pretty good shot. |

Where even the stones are laughing at youby e301Comment: Sorry but this shot´s DOF doesn´t agree with me. The composition draws my eye towards the backround and fog to the out of focus areas and not the foreground, I would have opted for infinity focus here. |

don't jumpby skewsmeComment: Well frankly I find this image a bit too busy for my taste, that tree in front of the house just bothers me and I didn´t notice the cat till after about 15-20 seconds of viewing, just didn´t get the title. Sorry but something to make it simpler, like losing that tree or some selective blurring or burning would have definately gotten a higher score from me, this got a 4. |

Small Comfortby scarbrdComment: Fits the challenge certainly, think I would have voted this higher with better processing though, like with higher contrast and more desaturated or black and white but nice shot, 6 from me. |

Brown Never Looked So Goodby JawnyRicoComment: First of all, nice looking lady :) Well lighting is pretty good, composition too and well pretty much nothing that I can see wrong with this shot except for one big issue, and that is the focus lying slightly in front of her eyes so they are a bit out of focus, take better care when focusing at 1.8 aperture and you should be all set. Also I personally would have used a higher contrast in post processing but that´s just my taste. |

The Road Less Traveledby BakerBugComment: When seeing images like this I always think they would be stronger with a subject walking down the path or towards the camera and this is one of those images but not bad at all, like the lighting and soft shadows on the pathway. |
