Oh, cold and lonely orb...by photom1946Comment: I do like this shot but feel that something is missing. Maybe the fact that I feel like I am looing at the top half of a photograh, I have a feeling I would have liked it better to see a portrait shot of the whole tree, dunno... 6 |

SWAMP OF THE LIVING DEADby AlexSaberiComment: Alex, is that your brother? Dig the shot, nice work, two things though, I would have had your brother wear a shirt or different clothes on the three photos of him in the backround to well maybe make it more realistic that they were three different people and also the hand creeping out of the frame has a much yellower skin tone than the face and that kindof bothers me. Anyway, other than an awesome shot definately one of the best in the challenge :) |

Engulfment Hazardby posthumousComment: Sorry but something about the look of this image just doesn´t agree with me, I can´t put my finger on it but the cartoonish coloring along with the low contrast, I dunno, just not my cup of tea, sorry :( |

Bushfires & Drought.by BrianRComment: I like the red tone and red sky here. Compositionally I think tilted back a little would have improved it as the foreground is a bit too much for me and I dislike that you cut off the top of the tree like that. Also the strong halo around the trees (especially the big one but also those along the horizon) bothers me a bit. Above average though in the challenge, gave a 6. |

Caught in a bubbleby hannekeComment: Lol! Love the expression on the fish :) Don´t as much care for the cyan hue to this shot but nothing that is really bothering me, gave it a 7. |

HITby moviemanComment: Well I voted this a 5 and no, not cause of some shock value wich I am sure some prissies will complain about or not cause it´s "disgusting", I have seen far worse and couldn´t care less. I just don´t think this photo is well, more than a snapshot and neither good nor bad. Since this challenge was titled harsh environments I would rather have taken a shot really down low by the animal (racoon? not sure what it is) and maybe shot it with a long exposure showing cars whizzing by to make it much more interesting. Shot from above like this just gives me that snapshot feeling I was talking about earlier. |

Nothing here shall grow...by alexjackComment: I personally would have voted this higher if the sky hadn´t been so saturated, when I want really strong colors I usually increase the contrast or fiddle with curves instead of the saturation bar but that´s just my taste :) I do not not think it´s a bad shot though but not good either so I voted a 5. |

Hell's Entranceby levyj413Comment: Sorry but I am not a fan of abstract work and this to me personally is just a big blurry mess and I voted it a 3. |

Death Valley-Salt Formations on Valley Floor by 2mccsComment: A very nice shot, I think I would have liked it better with some object with a different color than white in the foreground to well kindof ground the picture but like I said, a very nice shot and got a 7 from me. |
