Very cool sky ... like the minimalism of this shot as well

Strange contrast between the barren land and the bright blue sky. It's like, harsh but not harsh. If the emphasis was on the "nothing shall grow", I wonder if showing more of the barren land would have worked - as it is, it doens't say that much (to me). ~4

I personally would have voted this higher if the sky hadn´t been so saturated, when I want really strong colors I usually increase the contrast or fiddle with curves instead of the saturation bar but that´s just my taste :) I do not not think it´s a bad shot though but not good either so I voted a 5.

Nice shot and angle. Truly a sign of our times (i.e. sprawl and development). I would have liked the piece of equipment to be highlighted some and maybe some adjustments on the contrast, otherwise nice shot.

I like the simple image in which the photography and processing do not seem to get in the way of the viewing experience. Nice work. 10.

You should go up there and dump some sand in the oil-fill tube. Some little pebbles too! Just don't say I told you to! (wink)

Impressive, seems just ever so slightly underexposed to me though?

The picture is too dark, specially since the sky is so bright.
